Tony Chocolonely
100% slave-free chocolate

In the year 2005 chocolate received a lot of attention, among other things due to the release of the film Charly & the Chocolate Factory. A Dutch journalist concluded that abuse, such as forced child labour, still exists on some cacao plantations.

That is why he created the figure of Tony Chocolonely. The purpose? Tony’s Factory wanted to make the finest chocolate of the whole world and for the whole world to enjoy it. And that means slave-free chocolate.

What started on a small scale as an action against slave chocolate from regular trade, soon started to live a life of its own. Tony Chocolonely has developed into a genuine brand and is still a growing success today.
