The Oxfam family in Belgium consists of three different, independent, but complementary organisations. Oxfam-Solidariteit is a national, bilingual organisation. The Oxfam-Wereldwinkels operate in Flanders, Les Magasins du Monde-Oxfam in the French-speaking region.
Fair trade works!
FairTrade ensures significant additional income for the farmers in the South. According to the annual figures (2001) of the Fairtrade Labelling Organisation International (FLO) the producers received the following additional income thanks to the partnership with honest trade organisations:
